Certified internal quality – AMPP & Frosio
We are able to provide a remarkable amount of protections all applicable like internal lining or external coating, using the main international brands.
We can perform all the tests in our internal laboratory and we are proud to confirm our AMPP membership. Mr. Pietro Viganò, CEO of our company, has many years of experience as AMPP certified coating inspector and one of his goal is to constantly improve our internal laboratory with an up to date R&D department. Since 2021 Pietro is also certified as Frosio inspector Level 3 and Andrey Lisau, our QC, is certified Frosio inspector Level 3, ICorr coating inspector Level 2 and CSWIP 3.1 weldding inspector.
AMPP QP3 & QP6
QP 3 evaluates a contracting company’s ability to perform surface preparation and protective coating application in a fixed shop facility.
V.I.P. is a certified contractor since 2020. V.I.P. in 2023 has been awarded to be the first European Company obtaining also the QP6 certification for Metallizing.
AMPP QP certification is a standard similar to ISO but the QP program is specifically geared to the coatings industry. A program description is available from the SSPC website.
AMPP developed the shop painting contractor certification program to verify the capabilities of shop facilities to perform quality surface preparation and coating application.
